Nelson​ ​ Garcia ​ Is​ ​currently putting the last finishes to his new and upcoming record "New Horizons" which includes songs produced by Jean Sandoval. and Chris Davis "Big dog" ; and His current single "Got that feeling" produced by Darren Rahn has made it to the charts peaking #3 at the Groove jazz charts and #59 at the Smooth jazz Billboard charts. Darren Rahn is a veteran smooth producer with more than 25 # 1 hits on the smooth jazz billboard charts and has worked for some of the best artist in the business like "Wayman Tisdale" , "Dave Koz" "Tim Bowman" and "Nelson Rangell" just to name a few. 

The new CD will be released early 2019. This new CD will show us the versatility and variety of music that defines Nelsons career as a musician and saxophonist. The different flavors of smooth and contemporary jazz, as well as latin jazz will create a great record for that will appeal to all listeners and music lovers. It will be Nelsons 3rd album as a solo recording artist. Garcia says that this new album will make a huge difference in his career and will open new doors and avenues for the upcoming years. His collaboration with Jean Sandoval , who is a Connecticut producer that has worked with some of the finest musicians and artist in the business; has allowed him to write 5 songs on this new record, with Jean collaborating with another 3 songs . Producer Chris Davis "Big dog" who his currently working with Gerald Albright and has produced for smooth greats like Kim Waters, Najee and Marion Meadows has wrote a song for Nelsons new album titled "Als Groove' which is a latin ,Brazilian tune featuring a horn section by Nelson Garcia and Emmanuel Rivera. Als Groove will be a hit song in the Fall season and we expect to it to move up . 

Nelson ​has​ ​ been playing​ ​saxophone ​ ​ since​ ​ the ​ ​ age​ ​ of​ ​ 15.​ ​Growin up ​in ​Moca ​,Puerto ​Rico ​where ​he​ ​ took​ ​saxophone ​lessons with​ ​ Julio​ ​ Vasquez.​ ​While ​in​ ​ P.R.

In​ ​ 2009,​ ​ Nelson ​ ​ released​ ​ his ​ ​ first​ ​ solo​ ​ CD ​ ​ album​ ​ titled ​ ​ "El   Poder​ ​ de​ ​ tu ​ ​ Amor"​ ​ which ​ ​ gained​ ​ a​ ​ recognition ​in​ ​the​ ​US and​ ​ sold​ ​ over ​ 40000​ ​ copies ​ in​ ​ 2​ ​ years. Major​ ​ venues ​include​ ​​ ​ “Something ​ ​ Jazz​ ​ Club”​ ​ ,​ ​ Hartford   Jazz​ ​ festival ​ ​ 2017​ ​ line​ ​ up, ​ ​ Levas​ ​ gospel ​ ​ fest, ​Eastern Connecticut ​ State​ ​university ​ ​ night​ ​ of​ ​ Jazz, ​Nite​ ​ light​ ​ cafe Chicago​ ​and ​ many​ ​ more. ​He​ ​is​ ​recognized ​by​ ​ his ​ ​soulful and big tone inviting sound on tenor saxophone.
